After a renovation on our 1800s apartment led to an intense search for a ceiling rose featuring more than nondescript ornaments, we started thinking - what if ceiling roses weren't so serious, and were inspired by the world we live in today?
That's how the Rebel Rosettes collection was born - by wondering what would happen if today's vices and virtues had an influence on yesterday's ornaments. Our goal is to make pieces that feel joyful, curious, and take life less seriously; objects that your grandma will like and that your friends will love.
By bringing the gap between tradition and today, we use craftsmanship and attention to detail to create irreverent interiors. Our objects pay homage to antique crafting techniques while also using modern technology to facilitate production, using a combination of 3D printing and traditional plaster casting to create objects that reference history, without being tied down by it.
We are now a team of three, plus some enthusiastic and talented friends, making and designing the pieces.
The collection will soon include a toy edition for children's rooms, a carnivorous plant edition, and many more. We'd love you to join this journey with us!
